Camino Real (2010)

Tennessee Williams’ 1953 play Camino Real is set against the backdrop of the main plaza, going through a series of confusing and almost logic-defying events, including the revival of the Gypsy’s daughter (Esmeralda)’s virginity and then the loss of it again. A main theme that the play deals with is coming to terms with the thought of growing older and possibly becoming irrelevant.

Performed at: Pittsburgh Playhouse.

Directed by: George Ferencz.

Maria Gabriela Hernandez worked on this show during her time at Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts for their BFA in Technical Theater, with a concentration in Costume Design. She was a part of the Costume Department and helped create many of the outfits of the show.
